Every year, for 3 weeks in July, camp opens its doors to children ages 7-16 for a traditional residential summer camp. Before and after the summer camp, the facility is open to families, groups and individuals for recreation, camping, reunions, educational programs and special events.

Camp Hostýn is a private outdoor activity centre that is ideal for both recreation and relaxation.

Unlike the traditional camping, the accommodation is in rustic affordable cabins. The friendly environment is suited for both, individuals and families, and for a private gathering of groups of up to 70 guests.

The camp is situated on 23 acres land; there are forest trails great for hiking expeditions, or simply nature observation; volleyball field and a soccer field for sports enthusiasts and a canoe and bicycle rentals available.

One the premises you can find the outdoor shared kitchen with fridge & stove, several BBQ grills, the utility building with flushing toilets and showers.

The lounge is available if you prefer to stay indoors, or for those few rainy days, where you can play parlor games, read a magazine or a book from our library collection, or listen to music and practice or teach your kids some ballroom dance.

To light up the night, two large campfire pits are available. A full wheelbarrow of firewood is available to purchase for $10 or guests are welcome to collect firewood from the forest grounds.

Walking distance from the camp is a depanneur/corner store where you can purchase any daily necessities, resto-bar. Short 10 km to the south is St. Calixte and 9 km drive to the north take you to Chertsey; where you find a large supermarket, restaurants, bakery, gas station, etc.
